The three things that go wrong

Most wills don't fail because they're wrong. They fail because no-one can find them.

A will forgotten in a drawer

It was written carefully, then filed away. Years later, nobody remembers exactly where - or whether it was ever updated. The instructions never reach the people who needed them.

Executors who don't know where to start

Insurance, deeds, pensions, online accounts, funeral wishes - executors open drawers and hope. Important policies get missed. Subscriptions keep running. Photos vanish behind forgotten logins.

A family left confused at the worst possible time

In the weeks after a death, families are already grieving. Hunting through paperwork, second-guessing each other, missing deadlines - none of it is what your loved one would have wanted.

How Trusted Hands fixes it

Five things, in one place, working together.

We don't just help you write a will. We help you choose your executors, keep everything current as life changes, store the important documents your family will need, and make sure the right people know where to go when the time comes.

1. Create the will

Build a legally compliant UK will online, guided by our Smart Will Engine. Print-ready in 15-30 minutes. Wills Act 1837 compliant. From from £49.00.

When the time comes, your executor's portal unlocks. The will, the Executor Pack, the checklist, the documents you chose to share - all already there. No drawer-rifling, no guesswork.

Private & protected

Your secrets stay yours. Until the moment they shouldn't.

While you're alive

Only you can see your will, your draft, the documents in your vault. The people you appoint as executors receive nothing more than a short note saying they've been chosen. The portal stays locked - even with the link.

You can change executors, beneficiaries, gifts, or stored documents any time. Nobody else has to know.

When the time comes

Your executor notifies Trusted Hands, with documentation, that you have died. Once verified, the portal unlocks for only the people you appointed. They find the signed will, the Executor Pack, your asset register, and the documents you chose to share.

Your wishes are enforced - because the right people can actually find them.

An honest word

We're new - and we'd rather earn your trust than fake it.

You won't find stock testimonials on this page. Trusted Hands is a new UK service and we'd rather tell you exactly how the model works than dress it up with reviews we haven't earned yet. Here's what you're getting into.

Free until you're sure

The builder is free to start, free to save, free to come back to. You see the full draft and the inheritance preview before you pay anything. Payment only happens at download.

Wills Act 1837 compliant

Every will is structured to meet the legal requirements of the Wills Act 1837 for England & Wales. Guided Witness Mode walks you through the two-witness signing so it stands up at probate.

Not a firm of solicitors

We're transparent about what we are: a UK will-writing service, not a regulated law firm. Our Complexity Detector flags scenarios where a solicitor's advice is the right call - we'd rather point you elsewhere than push you through a process that doesn't fit.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Is a will I write online actually legal?

Yes - provided it is signed and witnessed correctly. Trusted Hands produces a will that follows the requirements of the Wills Act 1837 (England & Wales). We provide a step-by-step witness guide so the signing is done properly.

Are you a firm of solicitors?

No. Trusted Hands is a will-writing service, not a regulated law firm. Our advisors are trained will writers but do not provide regulated legal advice.

Who can be a witness?

Two adults who are not beneficiaries of your will, nor married to or in a civil partnership with one. Both must be present at the same time when you sign. Friends, neighbours and colleagues are usually fine.

How long does it take?

Most people complete a self-service will in 15-30 minutes. An assisted appointment with an advisor typically lasts 60 minutes.

What if my circumstances change?

You can come back any time and create a new draft - the new signed will revokes the old one. With our annual subscription (which also unlocks Family Vault for insurance, deeds and more), unlimited updates are included for a small annual fee. We'll also nudge you if you record a major life event.

How is my data protected?

Files in your Digital Vault are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We're UK GDPR compliant. You can request export or deletion at any time. Read our privacy notice.

Your wishes matter - so does making them easy to find.

Start free - you only pay when you're ready to download. A will tells people what you want; the Family Vault and Executor Service help the right people actually find it when the time comes.
